St-Lythans,-Equinox,-sunset-2391
Unusually, for a megalithic dolmen, it has a hole bored through one of the uprights. Maybe coincidence that the sun shines through it at sunset on the equinoxes. Maybe not.

Sugarloaf-Mountain,-dawn-
These shafts of light are known as God Rays. No hint of irony here as we are God's country.

Very early morning. The trees have not yet caught it but the morning light shines red on the hillside above them and is reflected in the water below.

The Guardian Ystalefera
Including the plinth The Guardian stands as tall as the Angel of the North. He commemorates the 45 miners killed in an explosion at the Six Bells Colliery on the site. Build with thin layers of steel with gaps between each, the effect is ethereal. Known to science as the 'Moiré Effect'

The Road to Treorchy
Keywords: Old power has been superseded by new. The irony is none of the profit from this enterprise stays in Wales. Nothing new there, then. But it also doesn't stay in the UK. The wind farms are foreign owned.
